St. Cloud, France to St. Cloud, MN was the theme for the 20th annual Fun, Food, and Fund day June 17th, 2010 at St. Augustine Parish.
St. Augustine women did an awesome job of planning for the day. Other groups did setup, silent auction, nametags, and lunch as well. French Dip, French potato salad and petit fours (like cream puffs) was lunch.
Entertainment was done by a group of student singers and French trivia was very nice.
St. Peter’s women, Doris, Alice, Christine, Vaya and Lorriane, did breakfast. St. Michael’s mission group purchased juice. Water in bottles was donated through a distributor. Assorted breads and donut holes were served also.
Birth line was there to sell chances on the quilt.
A speaker on Bella also was there. A fall meeting in October 2010 is at St. Augustine’s in St. Cloud Eastside.
We plan on visiting the parishes in the deanery to promote the Council of Catholic Women.
