OUR ORGANIZATION
Sometimes we think our Parish doesn’t have a women’s group. We might not have officers or scheduled meetings. Sound familiar?
Well, we do have a group or two. Someone makes a phone call and we get together and get something done.
Someone called: we made lunch for a funeral, we visited a sick friend, we knitted some baby caps for the hospital, we made some quilts for the church festival, we worked at a brat sale, we attended a retreat, and we donated to charity.
Call some friends and have coffee, talk about your Faith, enjoy yourself. This is all part of what we as women do. Keep up the good work! It’s OUR organization.

WUCWO’s aim is to promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in society and the Church, in order to enable them to fulfil their mission of evangelisation and to work for human development, particularly in increasing educational opportunities, poverty reduction and the advancement of human rights beginning with the fundamental right to life.
The President General is Maria Giovanna Ruggieri Here is a quote from her letter in the Amman, October 25, 2013 assembly: “Women, thanks to their feminine genius, can offer a specific and particular input for a united world based on respect of the human dignity of each person. For this reason, women are called to participate more actively in the life of the Church and of society. Our meeting can become a small workshop. We assume the words of Pope Francis and we want to offer our contribution also to work together for education to peace.

Information flows both ways, especially through commission chairs, magazines (Catholic Woman) and the internet. We read the national publications and they read ours.
